Oh man, it's snowin' and blowin', and I'm so excited I can hardly type! I feel like a little boy in a grocery store who's really gotta go, and he's got his one leg twisted around the other, and he's saying to his mom "I really gotta go NOW!". Yup, it's that urgent. Unfortunately, there will be precious little time to play in the snow this morning. Got up @ 7:00 to clean up the garage a bit...Roger and Alex are doing the electrical "early this week". I did get to shovel the snow off of the driveway. Not sure yet if I'm gonna be adventurous and try biking to work. The snow shouldn't be a problem, but it's too warm...I'll be covered in muddy slush from head to toe by the time I get to work :)
Our car has become a major expenditure lately...on sunday our muffler fell off, so we had it repaired yesterday for $200, and today we're getting the tires replaced for a mere $450 (and that was with a "buy one get the second @ 1/2 price"! Then there's the timing belt that still has to be done...bikes are definitely better than cars.
Goin' to mom & dad's for supper today to celebrate STACEY'S TWENTY SECOND BIRTHDAY! Actually, her birthday was on sunday, the 13th.
Speaking of birthdays, my boss turns FIFTY YEARS OLD TODAY. Hokee Dinah that's a whole lot of years to be alive. In fact, that's more than twice as long as I've been alive. I bet a person learns a lot of stuff in FIFTY years. His name is Harry, and he's the owner of Time-Out Sports in the Southland Mall, Winkler. Stop by and bug him, I mean, wish him a happy birthday :)
