Hello?

Anyone still checking this out from time to time? Well, my apologies again for the infrequent posting...let's face it, life is just to busy to spend it on here! At the same time I do enjoy looking at many of your blogs...just to see what's going on in the lives of our friends, so here's the recent lowdown on us.

How about the weather, eh? Boy, oh boy, I feel like a little kid when Spring hits! Not that I didn't enjoy winter. Had a Saturday off yesterday, and tried to spend as much time as possible outside. Had some crazy good bbq for lunch. Went out for supper with mom & dad, went for a drive in the country, watched a movie.

This morning we had a speaker from one of our sister churches up north...James Thiessen from Hodgson Bible Church. Really enjoyed it...he spoke at a men's fishing retreat we had a couple of years ago, and I've never forgotten was he said. After church we had a seriously good potluck lunch. There must have been at least a hundred people who stayed for lunch. Super duper.

Currently, at about 4:03, Liane's having a nap. She's had an extra dose of pain the last few days, so she needed it. After she went to sleep, I went for my first real run of the year. Oh, what a feeling! The only thing that could have been better would have been to be running on a trail in the bush, but the city'll have to do for today. I miss running. I never run through the winter, 'cause my lungs can't hack the cold. Winkler is having it's first ever half-marathon this year (that'd be 22km) and I'd really like to try it. It's been a few years since I did a half at the Manitoba Marathon. That was quite the experience. The one in Winkler is, I believe, in less that two months, so that doesn't give me a whole lot of time to train. We'll see what happens.

Anywhoos, I should go clean a few things up...spent too much time enjoying life outside, and not quite enough cleaning up yesterday.

Tonight Dad&Mom, Dustin, Heath&Bruce, and Liane&I are going to see the Winkler Bible Camp's spring dinner theatre. Every year they put one on...I think I've been at the last 3 or 4, and man oh man, it is a night chocked full of laughter. I think this year it's something about nine old women and a bank robbery. Should be good...if I take the camera, I'll try to post a few pictures.

Ta ta for now!

Man, I wish we would have been at that dinner theatre! Next year for sure. Not to say that we didn't have a good weekend with the Friesen's though. I learned how to shoot a gun! Good times.
