Jimmy's Last Journey

If all drains lead to the ocean, we should have flushed him sooner.

This evening, Liane and I flushed to rest our beloved Jimmy. His time with us was short, but precious. We adopted Jimmy back in early July, 2005 (see the blog welcome and pictures here). He was a quick learner, and a delight to train. In his early days, he was full of life, even jumping right out of the water when provoked! He took a real interest in anything that was going on in the Living Room, and he loved to meet new people.

Jimmy was officially diagnosed with Dropsy this past Sunday, although his symptoms had been noticable a few days earlier.

Donations may be made to the Replace Jimmy Fund at the Heartland Credit Union Winkler Branch.

Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.

- Warren and Liane
