Sunday was a wonderful day. Besides being absolutely beautiful outside, we spent the day with a lot of beautiful people. It was great to hear Sheldon Penner preach at church in the morning, and then Alex & Julie invited us over to their place for lunch. Had some great food, complete with ice cream and apple pie, and then the boys and us older boys had a water fight! It was a little cold at first, but the sun was really cookin'! We left their place just in time to hit Warky's for supper. They're only open until this wednesday, so we had to get there while we still can. Took our supper over to the Morden park, and had a little pickinick :) In the evening we went over to Irina's place to play some volleyball. Had a real good time, complete with a little fireside sing-a-long. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Today we had a ton of stuff to do...got most of the important stuff done, and had fun doing it. Mom and Dad came over in the morning. Mom helped me paint the baby room-to-be. We made a sweet blue sky, and some lush green grass. In a few weeks, we have to do a few finishing touches...a cream colored stripe on the horizon, and some clouds in the sky. Had lunch with Mom, Dad, and Ashleigh. While we were painting, Liane was busy cleaning out the garden, doing the laundry, cleaning up, etc. She would have loved to do the painting with me, but apparently it's not a great activity for pregnant women.
So it's just after 4 p.m. now, and we just finished eating strawberry smoothies. We're both kinda wiped out, so it'll be a quick nap, and then a vote on what to do for supper, and how to spend the evening.
Thanks again Mom for all the help! (And Dad too, I guess...you did tape the ceiling trim :)
