to all of you for your kind words of sympathy, the flowers, and most of all, your prayers. I never would have guessed that losing someone you've never met could be so difficult.
Please pray for Liane as she goes in for "surgery" tomorrow morning (a D&C as I have learned it is called). Although a pretty quick procedure (the doctor said it should only take five to ten minutes), it's still always a little scary to have any kind of surgery done. Neither I nor Liane have ever had surgery of any kind before. If all goes well, she should be home for night. Pray that she will heal quickly, and that she won't get bored silly while she's recovering (Irene suggested some chains to keep her in bed...I joked we probably had some handcuffs kicking around somewhere ;)

Lately I've been listening to this old disc of mine called Building your Faith. It's scripture put to song...so good. Anyway, there was one song from Psalm 28:7a and it just made me think of you...
"The Lord is my strength and my sheild; my heart trusts in Him and I am helped."
I've just been carrying you guys around in my heart praying that God would be your comfort and your strength right now. We're grieving with you both.
