Had the day off yesterday. Did a whole lot of nothing all day. Went for a walk with Liane late in the afternoon, to pick up the mail. Got outside and went "oh WOW!". Maybe it's 'cause I work 'til 6 or 9, but I haven't seen a sunset like that in so long. Ran inside to get the camera. It was gone in a matter of minutes. So much for those long summer sunsets!

I took a moment to watch the beautiful sunset too. Actually, Rowan came over to say 'hi' after their weekend away and he just stared out the window for a minute, then turned his head to see if the same thing was happening out the livingroom window. Wonder what his little mind was thinking?
Our God is an awesome God!!
We were at the playroom at this time. We turned the lights out and just watched out of the window for minutes (what is a long time for Marc und Kian). Lea and Noah thought it would be nice, if we could lay down on a warm cloud and cover up with another one ;-) Then they asked how a sky can look that beautiful. It was one of those precious moments to explain the greatness of our God!

I took a picture of that exact sun-set as well. Isn't it amazing what God can do with colors in the sky? And to think that that's just the tip of the iceberg. Wow....
