So I've only been at Something Digital for two weeks now, and I'm slowly starting to catch on, but here's one thing that has become blatantly obvious during those two weeks: computers die. New computers, old computers, makes no difference. I think hard drives have some kind of smart sensing capabilities that sense when you've got tons of important stuff stored on them and it's been a while since you last backed up, and then they crash. In two weeks I've seen at least a hard drive or two every day that was cooked. So you heard it here: back up your stuff! Regularly! Put it on whatever you can find...CDs, DVDs, a flash drive, hard drive, iPod, whatever.

Thanks for the tip Warren, although, if our computer dies, then we almost HAVE to get a new one!! In all seriousness, though, backing op our pictures is definately a good idea.

Hallo, vielen vielen Dank für deinen Kommentar auf meinem Blog, Liane, ich war hin und weg! Ich war hier schon vor einigen Tagen und habe ein wenig in eurem Blog gestöbert...toll! Hab ich auch schon einen Kommentar hinterlassen?...Peinlich, ich weiß es nicht mehr....! Aber ihr seid nun unter meinen Favoriten gespeichert, und seid jederzeit bei mir herzlich willkommen! Du hast ja einiges mitmachen müssen in letzter Zeit, das kann ich gut nachvollziehen...bisher war das nicht für die Öffentlichkeit, aber vielleicht sollte ich mal darüber schreiben, um anderen Mut zu machen.
